Me and my three kids, aged 8 to 14.
Formex 3D Lab started on our kitchen table, and it still lives there. I design every piece myself — not downloaded, not bought in. The kids are the quality control. If a dragon doesn't wiggle right, or a fidget isn't satisfying enough, they'll tell me. Loudly. Usually before I've finished it.
There's a printer running in our house most nights. When an order comes in, one of us is up making it. Nothing sits in a warehouse, because there is no warehouse. It's just us.
What we make
Flexi dragons, octopuses and manta rays that ripple through your fingers. Fidgets that survive a school bag. Spinning tops, phone stands, wall tiles and desk pieces. Every one printed to order, in whichever of our ten colours you like.
Custom pieces
If you want something that doesn't exist yet, ask. We design one-off pieces too — a name, a favourite animal, a gift for one specific person. That's the part we love most.
